About Us

Pat Johnson- Born near Queens New York, moved to Florida at a very early age. He attended the local high school, and went on to the University of Central Florida. After ten years as a Police Officer, he decided to use his engineering background, and got into motorcycles. Johnson started building and designing race bikes for local racers, and opened his first shop in 1998. In the summer of 2001 a father and son walked into his store, looking for a retail outlet for their hand made choppers. The bikes were very unique and Johnson new they were destined for greatness. Johnson sat down with the father and son, and agreed to help them with the new company in exchange for a small piece of the pie. A hand shake agreement was made, between Paul Teutul Sr and Paul Teutul Jr. of the now famed Orange County Choppers. The group had a three year partnership, and remain friends to this day. Johnson participated in the first few Discovery Channel episodes of American Chopper, but decided the TV fame was not for him. In the summer of  2003, Johnson seperated from O.C.C. and started the Demon Motorcycle Company. His designs are very unique, and several have ended up on TV and in magazines. Johnson continues to avoid the TV limelight, but enjoys his craft, and will continue building the best bikes he can.

Ron Hurtibise- Born in Detroit Michigan, attended a local high school and went on to The University of Michigan. Ron spent the majority of his life in the automotive industry. His first position was held as an executive with General Motors. He later went on to open his own chain of car dealerships and autoparts stores. Ron got involved with the retail end of the motorcycle business in the summer of 1999. Hurtibise partnered up with Johnson to open motorcycle retail sales centers and they own and run them today. Johnson approached Hurtibise in the summer of 2003 and requested leaving O.C.C. to start their own chopper company. Hurtibise was very reluctant, but had faith in his partner. Johnson knew Hurtibise would be instrumental in managment, marketing, advertising, and purchasing. They started the Demon Motorcycle Company and never looked back. Hurtibise started the companies only production models, and he aids in the development and design of these models even today.
